A unique event idea for your next corporate function; perfect for corporate team days, employee rewards or entertaining clients. Learn a wide range of culinary skills and indulge with a gourmet meal that you’ve prepared.
Our corporate cooking classes are a fun, stimulating and delicious way to connect and motivate people, with a hands-on team experience designed to bring out the ‘Masterchef’ or creative cook in every participant.
All hands-on cooking classes begin with an introduction by the class coordinator and participants are provided with a chef hat and apron for use during the class. This is followed by a cooking demonstration of the chosen dish from our chef trainer, where they will provide useful tips and tricks of the trade. Groups then prepare the food at their own station under the guidance from the chef. When cooking is complete and dishes are presented in the dining area, our chef will judge ‘best dish’ and all participants then enjoy the food with a glass of wine, bread and salad. A certificate of participation and recipes to take away are provided to everyone.
2.5 hours - $100 p/p including a glass of boutique Victorian wine.
Choose, create and enjoy one dish from a choice of various origins and cooking methods. Example dishes include:
- French – roasted rack of lamb with seeded mustard jus or entrecote steak béarnaise
- Japanese – seafood or vegetable tempura in light beer batter with dipping sauce
- Italian – classic risotto or handmade pasta with sauce or filling
- Spanish – chicken and seafood paella or selection of tapas
- Greek – spring lamb cutlets with garlic, oregano & lemon roasted long red peppers; cucumber, olive, feta and mint
- Moroccan – traditional tagine with accompaniments
- Thai – green or red chicken or vegetable curry
- Indian – prawn curry with mango or samosas with Indian chutney
- Middle Eastern – salmon with walnut, parsley & pomegranate crust and pumpkin kibbeh
INTERACTIVE DEMONSTRATION DINING EXPERIENCE
for 10 to 28 people
2.5 hours $100 p/person including 2 courses and a glass of boutique Victorian wine
Includes chef demonstration of a 2 course meal together with some interactive components amongst the group. For example, participants assist with the filling of ravioli. Includes 2 course meal and a glass of wine, bread & salad, recipes to take away and a certificate of participation. Example menus:
- Spanish meatballs in tomato sauce AND chicken or seafood paella
- Rice paper rolls AND Thai chicken curry (red or green)
- Scallops wrapped in radicchio & cured ham AND ricotta ravioli with tomato & mushroom sauce
